Dear Friend,
You probably attended a virtual event where the host happily says that over 5000 registered for the teleclass or webinar that you're attending.
Or, maybe you’ve been on a teleclass where the entry chimes keeps ringing as hundreds of people call in to claim their spot.
Or, maybe you attended a webinar where you wanted to ask your most pressing questions, but you keep missing the queue due to the volume of people on the webinar.
How are these people able to attract such a large number of attendees to their virtual events?
And, how can you use these same tactics to fill your next virtual event effortlessly?
Well, the magic isn't in your content. It has everything to do with the MARKETING.
But first, I'd like to explain why virtual events are a great way to boost your business...
The Recession & Worldwide Travel Advisories Are Hurting Attendance at Trade Shows
The economic downturn is causing many businesses to rethink travel plans. Worldwide pandemics are making people cancel trips. These two things has had a negative effect on trade shows and expos. In fact:
Reed Exhibitions cancelled the 2009 BookExpo Canada, the annual trade show of the Canadian publishing and book industry.
The British International Motor Show has been cancelled for 2010. It has run every year since 1903.
Citing the challenging times faced by its members, The American Society of Newspaper Editors canceled its 2009 convention, the first time it has canceled their annual event ever.
In 2003, the SARS pandemic around the world caused many businesses to cancel their annual shows. In Toronto, Canada, one of the cities that the World Health Organization encouraged people to avoid during the SARS pandemic, many conferences and conventions canceled their shows or moved them to another city. It was reported that the hotel occupancy rate in Toronto was only half the normal rate.
The 2009 swine flu which originated in Mexico prompted stocks of airlines and hotels to go down. One airline's stock dipped 26% on news of the swine flu.
The National Association of Broadcasters, which normally attracts 120,000 attendees to its annual show, only had 84,000 delegates attend its 2009 show, a 30% drop in attendees from the year before.
Lack of money, illnesses and uncertainty are causing people to stop attending trade shows. The good news is that while people are traveling less, they still want to learn new things and continue to upgrade their skills.
Why Hosting Virtual Events Will Give You the Edge & Boost Your Business Fast
Whether you lead a learning event over the phone or over the Internet, you can host a virtual event to fill a growing need.
It's easier and cheaper for businesses to pick up the phone or launch their browser to learn a new skill or strategy from the comforts of home or office.
If you own a business, you must add hosting virtual events to your business as a viable income stream. Why?
You get known fast. People will see you as a mover and shaker in your industry. Whether you host your virtual event solo or invite experts to join you, people will start viewing you as an expert.
You create tons of information products quickly. All you need to do is record your teleclass or webinar and now, you have an information product that you can sell on its own or bundled with another product.
You fill your database effortlessly with hot leads. All you need to do is record your teleclass or webinar and now, you have an information product that you can sell on its own or bundled with another product.
You earn a landslide of money in just a few days. No other income stream has helped me to make money as quickly as virtual events.
Hosting your own virtual event can boost your credibility, break into the big leagues and propel your income into six, even seven figures at a rapid pace.
But only if you avoid the mistakes that I made. You see, when I started hosting virtual events...
Only 4 People Attended My Very First Virtual Event
I manage a thriving business where I use virtual events to close deals and make money. It’s not unusual for me to make 5-figures from hosting a one hour virtual event.
But it wasn’t always like that.
In 2005, I hosted my very first teleclass. I wrote up the sales page, booked a conference bridge line and scheduled a guest expert to interview.
On the day of the teleclass, I called the bridge line and greeted the guest expert who was waiting for me on the phone. As we chit chatted, I started to panic. It was now 2 minutes after the start time and only I and my guest expert were on the phone.
Finally, one other person joined us on the live call. I was relieved that we would have an audience, yet I was still unhappy with the turnout.
I couldn’t figure out what I did wrong. My sales page seemed fine, my expert showed up, my interview questions were bang on, but somehow I only attracted two people.
The expert sent me an email later that day to express her disappointment with the turnout. She felt she had wasted her time sharing her knowledge with a small audience.
She then grilled me about my marketing plan. Did I promote the event? If so, how? Where did I post the event? Did I ask others to help me?
I felt awful. However, her questions helped me pinpoint the exact problem. The reason why I attracted a small audience is because I didn't have a solid marketing plan.
How I Made Just Under $20,000 in 48-Hours
Fast forward 6-years later and whenever I hold a virtual event, I can easily earn five figures. Hosting virtual events has become the cornerstone of my business, helping me make no less than five to six figures in my business consistently.
Anytime I host a virtual event, I leave the entry chimes on. Those entry chimes tell me how many people have joined the call. I love hearing them as it’s like music to my ears. It’s not unusual for me to turn them off because too many people join at once, making the chimes very distracting.
Hosting virtual events has helped my business explode. It's still the only way that I sell information products. In fact, my annual telesummit helps me generate 5 to 6 figures in just a matter of hours (and that doesn't include affiliate, offline or post event sales).
The image below is a screenshot of my sales report from my shopping cart. It shows the total number of sales for my very first telesummit in 2008. I made just under $20,000 in 48-hours.
Solid content didn't win the day. It was solid marketing that helped me make alot of money quickly.
You Too Can Host a Successful Multi-Speaker Virtual Event
I developed a step-by-step roadmap on how to market your virtual events so you put more bums in the virtual seats. The 5 things you need are:
An Attractive Sales Page that Gives People Information About Your Virtual Event.
Joint Venture Partners Who Can Help You Promote Your Event - Even If You Don't Have a List.
Preview Content That Gives People a Sneak Peak of All the Great Content You Plan to Share Through Your Virtual Event.
Social Media That Allows You to Attract Targeted Leads Who Will Buy a Seat to Your Virtual Event.
Email Blasts Where You Can Drop Hints & Share Reminders About Your Virtual Event.
Post Event Marketing Tactics to Uncover Hidden Profits Promoting to Attendees After Your Virtual Event Is Over
I want to help you experience massive results in just a few short weeks. That's why, I'm celebrating the launch of my brand new program...
Announcing My **Upgraded** Virtual Event Marketing Blueprint
I'm so excited about this program. I will spoon feed you my step-by-step roadmap on how you can fill your next virtual event using my proven marketing tips.
You'll learn:
Step 1 - Virtual Event Sales Page Secrets that Rack Up Sales
A well written sales page can help sell your event effortlessly - so you don’t have to. By learning the basics on how to write copy that sells, you’ll save thousands of dollars.
I must admit - I hate to write, however, I’ve found an easy formula that I use to crank out powerful copy that drives people to take action.
Here's what you'll learn in the Virtual Event Marketing Blueprint:
Ways to write your sales copy to generate sales without the hard sell;
Why you must always create scarcity (and how to do it ethically);
What to include on your sales page so people leave their info with you - even if they don’t buy;
Why you can’t create the same sales copy for a free event vs a paid one (I’ll show you what to do instead);
How to name your virtual event so it creates a flood of paid attendees
How to target the right problem so people just hand you money to attend your virtual event
PLUS, you'll get an activity sheet with the 10 sections that you must always include in your sales page to rack up registrations.
Step 2 - Ways to Get Speakers & Affiliates to Promote Your Virtual Event for You
Getting others to promote your virtual event is an excellent strategy, especially if you have a small list or no list at all.
Here's what you'll learn in the Virtual Event Marketing Blueprint:
Ways to attract those with large lists to promo your virtual event;
What is a favorable affiliate commission for speaker vs affiliates;
How much lead time is ideal to promote your virtual event (it’s not the same for all);
Why an email database is not enough to promote an event;
The #1 thing you must share with your partners & affiliates to ensure they’ll promote your virtual event;
PLUS, you'll get my Speaker Invitation Email and Sample Speaker Release Form to get a "Yes" 90-100% of the time.
Step 3 - How to Use Preview Calls to Create Anticipation
It can be difficult to get people to sign up for your virtual event if they don’t know you. That’s why giving away free preview content is an excellent way to build relationships and get them used to your style of delivery.
Just having free preview content isn’t enough, you have to convince them to sign up for it too.
Here's what you'll learn in the Virtual Event Marketing Blueprint:
How to build rapport in your preview content so they know, like and trust you;
The easy way to gain attention and get a flood of people signing up for your preview content;
Why choosing the right conference bride line for your preview calls can make - or break - your conversions;
What you need to put on your thank you page to encourage more sales;
How to carefully design your preview content so that you don’t give away too much, yet peek enough interest to get people to sign up;
How to use articles and videos to drive a hungry batch of prospects to your virtual event
PLUS, I'm including a Sample Schedule of Preview Calls you can copy to design your own series, plus a Storyboard Template to craft your preview video.
Step 4 - How to Use Social Media to Drive People to Your Virtual Event
Blogs, Twitter, Facebook, podcasting - if you use these social media tools the right way, you can attract a flood of leads to your event in a short amount of time.
Here's what you'll learn in the Virtual Event Marketing Blueprint:
The #1 thing you must do to build trust with your followers and friends;
Why you can’t send your social media leads to your virtual event sales page (and where to send them instead);
How to write your Twitter tweets so you publish them once and your followers share them over and over;
How to use a hidden Twitter secret to attract attention to your virtual event;
The easy blogging tool you must use to share and syndicate your content to attract those who aren’t in your network;
Ways to create a Facebook event so you don’t annoy your friends;
How to use a blog and podcast to gain search engine traffic so new people find you;
PLUS, you'll get sample Twitter tweets and Facebook event email reminders that get attention every time.
Email has gotten a bad rap over the past couple of years, but it’s still an excellent strategy to use to promote your virtual event.
Here's what you'll learn in the Virtual Event Marketing Blueprint:
The one thing you should NEVER mention in your emails;
What subject lines to use so people open your emails every time;
The #1 mistake most people make with their ezine list that increases unsubscribes (I’ll teach you what you should do differently);
How to write articles for your ezine that peek interest;
How to get tons of sign-ups even if you don't have a large email list
Step 6 - How to Uncover Hidden Profits Marketing to Attendees After Your Virtual Event Is Over
Once your virtual event is over, there’s still an opportunity to connect with attendees and prospects. Actually, this is the BEST time to reach out to those who attended your virtual event and those who chose to miss it.
Here's what you'll learn in the Virtual Event Marketing Blueprint:
A nifty little trick to get attendees to implement what they’ve learned;
How to use an old marketing technique to connect with speakers, joint venture partners and attendees;
How to ask for feedback while avoiding negative comments;
The best way to get testimonials from attendees - even if they haven’t implemented anything yet;
Why you should NEVER delete your sales page after the event is over (I’ll teach you how to use it attract leads for your next virtual event)
PLUS, you'll receive my survey template so you can ask the right questions and turn them into testimonials to sell your next virtual event.

Here's to your virtual event marketing success!
Leesa Barnes
*Less a $97 administrative fee.
Okay Leesa, How Much Will This Cost Me?
First let me ask you how many more articles do you need to write or how many pay-per-click ads do you need to purchase to make 5 to 6 figures online? Are you satisfied watching your income grow slowly using tactics like these?
The Virtual Event Marketing Blueprint shows you how to grow your income fast using proven marketing strategies. I've done it and here's the proof again in the screenshot below.
I could easily charge thousands of dollars for this program. You will make 3 or 4 times what you invest in this program. However, I decided that $1,297 would be a fair price for this program.
But you won't pay this during this end of program sale. Instead, this amazing kit is just $997 USD. I'm not sure when this price will go up, so I recommend you get it now.
What can you get for $997 these days?
You can attend yet another hype filled Internet marketing summit where it's all pitches and no content. Plus, this doesn't include your flight and hotel costs. And you're utterly confused what to do next.
You can buy more ebooks, downloadable audio files and special reports that give you pieces of information, but doesn't give you an A-Z roadmap from beginning to end.
Isn't your success worth more than being confused and frustrated? I bet it is. Act now and you'll watch your confidence - and your client base - soar as you learn how to market your virtual event using my step-by-step system.

And Here Are Just Some of the Results Past Customers & Affiliates Experienced Working With Me
The results below are not typical. I can't guarantee that if you get the Virtual Event Marketing Blueprint that you too will get the results past students are reporting below.
I would need to know your learning style, your background, your desire and whether you have a history of completing things.
I share these experiences to show you what's possible if you're willing to apply what you'll learn in the Virtual Event Marketing Blueprint to your telesummit or virtual event.
"After using Leesa's advice, my first virtual event produced just under $30,000 - and that's just pre-sales!"
"Many of those who attended my past workshops said that they were experiencing difficulty traveling due to decreased budgets. I knew that a virtual event would help my clients, but I wasn't sure where to start.
After taking Leesa's blueprint, I have a new respect for planning virtual events. I sent out an email to my clients before the sales page went live. 88 people signed up, netting just under $30,000. Leesa's blueprint works."
Mary O'Brien, www.AdwordsAdvantage.com
"Attendance shot up by 1,600% using Leesa's simple process!"
"The first time I hosted my virtual event, no one signed up. I was discouraged by the turnout and decided not to launch virtual events again.
But then I discovered Leesa's blueprint and followed her tips step-by-step. The preview calls alone produced a 1600% increase in sign-ups. I attracted much more active students. In addition to repeating this class, we're developing other virtual events."
Melva Johnson, www.CouplesTransformations.com
"Traffic to My Site Has Tripled!"
"The 2008 Social Media Telesummit provided me with tools I could use and steps I could take to increase my visibility on the web. In fact, there were so many ideas and steps discussed that, after 9 months time, I'm still implementing things that I learned from the Telesummit.
Most significant has been the increase in site visitors and interactions I've had with my audience. In fact, traffic to my site has easily tripled over the past several months as I've implemented things I learned.
Even for someone like me who has a busy schedule and could only attend some of the sessions live, it was well worth it. When I have some down time, I listen to some of the sessions I missed or that I found interesting. I'm still learning things.
If you're worried about the cost, I promise you that its well worth it. The results you'll get and the return on your investment easily exceeds what you'll pay to participate."
Larry Wanger, www.disabilitynation.net
"Now I Have a Professional Presence Online!"
"When I started my organizing business I had very little money and no budget for advertising, let alone a proper website. Learning how to create blogs has given me an online presence that continues to thrill me with its professional look, and appeal to readers. Thank you so much for introducing me to the world of blogging, Leesa!"
"Participating in Leesa's first Social Media Telesummit was a very good move for my business. First, the recording and transcripts from my presentation easily became a product that I could offer my clients in the future. It was the easiest and quickest way for me to produce content for a new product.
Second, I very quickly became inundated with a flood of new client requests. I actually had to turn business away because I just couldn't handle the number of people who wanted to work with my company. It's a great problem to have, and I have Leesa's Telesummit to thank for that."

I have never hosted a telesummit. Should I get this program?
Only if you've already planned your speakers, the topics and the name of your telesummit. If not, the Virtual Event Marketing Blueprint will be too advanced for your needs. I recommend starting with Virtual Event Launch Secrets if you're just starting out.
So, this is available online?
Due to the size of the program, the Virtual Event Marketing Blueprint will be mailed to your door.
My virtual assistant is already promoting my telesummit for me.
Really? If your virtual assistant isn't following the steps in the Virtual Event Marketing Blueprint, I bet she's just "winging" it and guessing as she goes along. Why not invest in your telesummit and get all the scripts, templates and samples that you and your virtual assistant can use to bring in 5, even 6-figures for your virtual event.
I hate marketing. Can't stand it. I don't want to do anything that brings me out of integrity with myself.
That's why the Virtual Event Marketing Blueprint is perfect for you. I give you everything you need so you can promote your telesummit or virtual event in an authentic way.
My first telesummit failed miserably. All that time and effort put in and I didn't even break even. I like the telesummit strategy, but I'm nervous about going down that path again.
Then, you must get the Virtual Event Marketing Blueprint. Great content doesn't fill telesummits - marketing does. Once you get this program, you'll see EXACTLY where you fell short so you can make money, get known and serve your mission in a profound way using telesummits.
There's alot of information in this program. I'm nervous that I won't be able to finish it all.
Not to worry. Each module in the Virtual Event Marketing Blueprint comes with a lesson checklist. This checklist is designed to help you consume the content in this program in small, bite-sized chunks. If you have questions, you can pop them into the online forums where other students and my virtual event managers will be there to help.
